While the mystic of Georgia’s Golden Isles has been known by many for generations, recent recognition of St Simons Island by Travel + Leisure readers as the #1 US Island in the USA requires more than just being a great place.  It requires the appropriate promotion from more than a strong CVB as well.  

MMI believes in the power of community for property performance.  We understand guests oftentimes are coming to experience more than that which can be provided on the grounds of a specific property.  When The King and Prince’s former Dir. of Sales & Marketing Bud St Pierre reached out to neighbors to develop a full agenda for travel writers more than ten years ago, the community bought in. 

And, after years of proactive promotion through FAM tours and influencer visits, their collective efforts have paid off.

Although Bud retired in 2022 after two decades at the resort, his legacy endures. Once an unconventional marketing strategy, Bud focused marketing and advertising efforts on showcasing the entire Golden Isles community - a true Coastal Georgia Island experience - as opposed to the property alone.
